About Every Rupee Spent

Accurate, India-first financial calculators that help you understand your money before you make a decision — plus a growing suite of premium services, from bill reminders and budgeting to SEO audits and TDS payment assistance, for individuals and businesses ready to take the next step.

Our mission

Most people in India make significant financial decisions — a home loan, an SIP, which tax regime to choose — based on little more than a rough estimate or a salesperson's pitch. We believe everyone deserves to see the real numbers first. Every Rupee Spent exists to make that math transparent and trustworthy, so you can plan your loans, taxes, savings and investments with confidence. Our calculators are free for exactly that reason; we also offer paid, optional services for individuals and businesses who need more than a calculator can provide.

What we stand for

Accuracy first

Every calculator uses standard, published financial formulas and is backed by automated tests that check the math against worked examples. When rates or tax rules change, we update the tools.

Built for India

PPF, EPF, SSY, NPS, HRA, the old vs new tax regime, quarterly-compounded FDs — the rules, rates and conventions are Indian, not adapted from a US calculator.

Free and private

The calculators are free and need no account. Your numbers are processed in your browser — we do not store the figures you type or sell your data.

Honest about limits

Our tools give estimates, not advice. We tell you plainly what a result can and cannot do, and always point you to a qualified professional for real decisions.

How we build our calculators

  1. We start from the standard, published formula for each instrument — the EMI reducing-balance formula, compound-interest and annuity formulas, the statutory PPF/EPF/SSY rules, and the income-tax slabs for the relevant financial year.
  2. We write automated tests that check each calculator against worked examples and known reference values, so a change can never silently break the math.
  3. We show the full working where it helps you trust the result — amortization schedules, year-wise breakdowns and charts, not just a single final number.
  4. We review interest rates, tax slabs and scheme parameters when they change (for example at Budget time or when small-savings rates are revised) and update the tools and their "last updated" context.

Our tools are for information and education only — they are not financial advice. Please read our full disclaimer before acting on any result.
